MOULD announce signing to Nice Swan Records & share pulsating new single ‘Cables’

Bristol newcomers MOULD announce their signing to Nice Swan Records (English Teacher, Sprints, Opus Kink) and share pulsating new single ‘Cables’, out today (May 7th).

Newly-signed to the acclaimed indie label, MOULD (comprising of Joe Sherrin, Kane Eagle and James Luxton) channel the likes of Fugazi, Pile and Weezer in their exhilarating sound, with early nods of approval arriving in recent times from key indie press champions including NME, Dork and So Young.

Partnering up with the esteemed Jon McMullen (Wet Leg, Michael Kiwanuka) on production duties, the band’s most recent single ‘Birdsong’ has already gained them plenty of fanfare across the BBC 6 Music (Huw Stephens, Amy Lamé) and Radio X (John Kennedy) airwaves, and with live dates alongside Lip Critic this month as well as several festival apperances, the rising trio are primed to enhance their profile throughout the emerging indie landscape.

Detailing their upcoming release, MOULD explained: “‘Cables’ was written after moving from Bristol to London without any plan and wondering what the hell to do. It’s kinda about not having any direction & feeling aimless but also how it was exciting to be directionless and aimless. It’s also about cables.”

MOULD’s ‘Cables’ is out now via Nice Swan Records and available on all digital platforms.
